– While we try to match a student to each faculty, submission of the faculty project form does not guarantee you will receive a MURF student in AY26-27. Ultimately, this will depend on our funds, the number of faculty who submit projects, and the number of student applicants.

– During Summer 2026, we will reach out to you letting you know all students who applied to your project and asking who your preferred applicant is. While we honor faculty preferences, final decisions will ultimately be up to our office and our budget.
